BioVivo Science Launches Water-Soluble American Ginseng Extract
Company invested $70 million in new U.S. facility, expanding domestic production capabilities and enhancing supply chain resilience for botanical ingredients.
BioVivo Science, supplier of science-backed botanical extracts, recently opened its 100,000-square-foot cGMP-certified manufacturing facility in Jeffersonville, IN. This $70 million investment significantly expands domestic production capabilities and enhances supply chain resilience for botanical ingredients made in the U.S.
At IFT FIRST, the company is unveiling its water-soluble American Ginseng extract at booth 4505. The company will also present a featured session, “Securing the Future of Functional Ingredients: U.S. Made Botanical Solutions,” on Monday, July 14 from 2:30 to 3 pm, and will highlight ways that domestic manufacturing can improve performance, transparency, and resilience in functional ingredient supply chains.

American Ginseng (Panax quinquefolius), a native North American botanical, is experiencing renewed market interest due to growing scientific backing for its adaptogenic and cognitive health benefits, the company noted.
The BioVivo Science extract is rich in active compounds such as ginsenosides Rb1, Re, Rg1, as well as immune-supporting polysaccharides and flavonoids. It is available in multiple specifications, including a water-soluble standardized extract and a straight powder, optimized for beverages, supplements, and functional food applications.
Sourced from U.S.-grown ginseng and extracted with pure water, the ingredient delivers solubility, bioavailability, and a clean-label, plant-based solution that meets growing demand for natural and traceable ingredients.
