Biovivo Science, based in Indiana, USA, is introducing saw palmetto extracts and powders to the Japanese market. In August, the company announced plans to supply superfruit ingredients such as cranberry, guarana, and acerola to the Japanese market. As the second phase of its expansion, Biovivo Science is strengthening its offering of saw palmetto ingredients.
The company works directly with saw palmetto growers in Florida, USA, establishing a stable supply system with competitive pricing through regular procurement of raw materials. Saw palmetto fruit is processed at the company’s own cGMP-certified facility using both supercritical carbon dioxide extraction and alcohol extraction.
“We place a strong emphasis on safety management and high-quality production through the expertise of our skilled production team. We have also obtained USP–NF recognition. Through rigorous traceability, we export safe and reliable botanical ingredients to countries around the world,” the company stated.
The product lineup includes Saw Palmetto Oil with 85% total fatty acids, a Saw Palmetto Oil and Pumpkin Seed Oil blend (1:8), and Saw Palmetto Powder standardized to 45%, 25%, and 15%. The company can accommodate customer requirements for customized specifications and offers three extraction methods.
For all products, the company provides certification from a third-party organization verifying the use of 100% saw palmetto. In the United States, saw palmetto is commonly used in supplements aimed at supporting prostate health, hair-growth support, and testosterone balance.
Biovivo Science’s headquarters and manufacturing facility are located on a 9,290 m² (100,000 sq. ft.) site in Indiana. The facility is equipped with machinery for enzyme processing, extraction, concentration, sterilization, milling, freeze-drying (FD), and spray-drying (SP). The company has an annual production capacity of 2 million kg.
The company complies with FSSC 22000, cGMP, USDA Organic requirements, Halal, and Kosher standards.

本社・工場は、インディアナ州に9290㎡（100,000sq.ft）の広大な土地に酵素処理から抽出・濃縮・殺菌・粉砕・FD（フリーズドライ）、SP（スプレードライ）機械を保有。年間200万kgの生産能力を有する。
FSSC22000、cGMP、USDAオーガニック記述、ハラル、コーシャ基準にも対応している。
